The inherent nature of a character, which encompasses their personality, fundamental outlook, and values. Affects can be positive, negative, or neutral, and encompass both internal aspects (values, beliefs, motivations, fears) and, optionally, external factors (appearance, mannerisms, social presence, or reputation).
Example: A character with a compassionate affect might prioritize helping others, while a character with a cynical affect might view the world with suspicion and distrust.
